Yes. Add up to 20 images, with a 30 MB limit per file and 100 MB total input per batch. Each image can contain up to 16 megapixels. The total converted output is limited to 100 MB. Images are processed sequentially, and successful results can be downloaded as a ZIP.
JPG and this tool’s WebP export use lossy compression, so some detail can be lost. You can adjust their quality settings. PNG encoding is lossless, but converting to PNG does not restore detail missing from the source. Converting can also change color rendering and does not preserve EXIF or other embedded metadata.
No. The converter reads and processes your selected images locally in your browser. Your selected image files are not uploaded to our servers. Clear the batch or leave the page to release the tool’s image resources; download your results before leaving.
Yes, in a mobile browser with the required image decoding and encoding support. The tool checks output format support on your device. Large images may exceed a device’s available memory even within the published limits; try a smaller batch if a conversion fails.
WebP is often a good option for website photos and transparent images. JPG is also useful for photographs, while PNG suits lossless graphics and screenshots. The best choice depends on the image, its transparency, and the actual size and quality of the exported file.
